Using the Top 10 Sale Items Metric

The Top 10 Sales metric shows the most sold items, or the items that bring in the highest sales.

Setting up the Top 10 Sale Items metric:

  1. Click POS in the Display Items section of the Sidebar Menu.
  2. Drag and drop Top 10 Sale Items onto the Dashboard.
  3. Hover the cursor over the Top 10 Sale Items metric title to display the drop-down menu.
  4. Click Configure Options.
  5. Select the clubs you wish to view by moving them from Available to Selected using the multi-select list. See Multi-Select List.
  6. Select the Transaction Date date range.
  7. Choose a View.
Sales: Displays a dollar amount for each item.
Quantity: Displays the total number of that item sold.
  8. Choose whether to include tax in the displayed dollar amount (this option will be turned off if the Quantity View was selected).
  9. Choose whether to include sales made online in the data that will be displayed.
  10. Choose whether to include recurring services in the data that will be displayed.
  11. Select an individual profit center to display or select All to show all profit centers.
  12. Click OK.

The displayed data will be sorted in descending order. The item ranking number one will be the source of highest sales or the item sold in the greatest quantity for the selected date range.

Note: Unlike many of the other metrics, the Top 10 Sale Items metric cannot be sorted by column. The data is fixed to sort by rank.

Tip: Use the Refresh or Refresh All buttons when viewing this metric to reincorporate live data into the display.
If new transactions have occurred since the metric was loaded that would affect the displayed data, the metric will not change unless it is refreshed or closed and reloaded.
