Billing

When adding a payment option on the member's Billing tab, you can now use the check reader to scan Canadian checks.

The member must provide a check from a bank institute in the same country as the club’s country. When scanning a check or manually entering the banking information, DataTrak will display an error message if the member of a Canadian club provides a U.S. check or if the member of a U.S. club provides a Canadian check.

In the following examples, the member of a U.S. club provided a Canadian check.

  • The following is the error message that appears when scanning the Canadian check at a U.S. club: Only US bank issued checks are valid. An example of the error message is shown below.

  • The following is the error message that appears when manually entering a check from a different country: Bank Name not found for Routing Number. An example of the error message is shown below.
