Freeze Account

Freezing an account means that you can suspend the time and the payment or charge the member an alternate amount while the account is suspended. The amount of time that an account is frozen is also the amount of time that the account is extended.

You have two options when freezing an account.

• Freeze Billing
• Freeze Time Only

The following is an example of the Freeze Account form in the Account Maintenance section.

Freeze Billing

An account can be frozen with billing. This means that the club will continue to charge the member a specific amount of money per month while the member's account is suspended.

Use the following options to freeze billing.

Option	Description
Freeze Billing	Click the radio button to select this option.
Start Date	The date to start the Freeze. This date must be selected from the invoice schedule above the Freeze Billing form.
No. Payments	This is the total number of payments to freeze the account by.
Amt due while frozen	This is the amount to charge the member on a monthly basis for the duration of the freeze.
Include Club Fee	If you are freezing an account that includes an annual enhancement fee in the invoice schedule, you will be prompted with an additional pop-up window once you have submitted the freeze entry. In the pop-up window, you can choose whether or not to include the enhancement fee in the freeze. If you select Yes, the Enhancement Fee due date will be extended by the number of months the account was put on freeze. If you select No, the Enhancement Fee due date will remain the same
Indefinite	By selecting this check box, the account will be on freeze for 12 months; if it is not reinstated or placed on freeze, the account will be canceled.

Freeze Time Only

By freezing an account with time only, you are indicating that you want to suspend the member's ability to access club facilities and privileges while continuing to make their regularly scheduled payments.

The account expiration is still extended by the total number of months that are frozen. These extended months have already been paid for by the member and further payments are not due on the account until renewal.

Use the following options to freeze time.

Option	Description
Freeze Time Only	Click the radio button to select this option.
Start Date	The date to start the Freeze.
End Date	The date to end the Freeze.
Indefinite	By selecting this check box, the account will be on freeze for 12 months; if it is not reinstated or placed on freeze, the account will be canceled.
